Job description (overview)
Overseeing research and development activities. Planning and execution of strategic R&D initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Establishment of strategic partnerships with external entities, facilitating knowledge exchange and resource acquisition.

Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.), Physics, Material Science, or a related field. Advanced studies and research experience are preferred.
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in Research & Development, preferably in the renewable energy sector or a related industry.
- Demonstrated track record of leading R&D projects from concept to commercialization, with a focus on innovation and technology advancement.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of researchers, engineers, and scientists.
Hard Skills
- Expertise in renewable energy technologies, particularly wind energy, and offshore wind systems.
- Specialization in areas such as aerodynamics, structural dynamics, materials science, control systems, or grid integration relevant to wind energy R&D.
- Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) management, patent processes, and technology transfer practices relevant to R&D activities.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and market dynamics impacting the renewable energy industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis, experimental design, and research methodologies, with the ability to evaluate and interpret technical data and results.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese communication (verbal and written).
